Free Lecture on the “Camera Designs of Walter Dorwin Teague” at the Madsonian Museum in Waitsfield, VT

Who? Allison Teague and Ralph London on Walter Dorwin Teague Camera Designs

Walter Dorwin Teague designed cameras for Kodak and Polaroid between 1928 and 1960.  Ralph London will speak on the importance of these designs, many of which will be on show at the exhibit.  London is a collector from Portland, Oregon, collecting mainly early wood and brass cameras from the 1840′s to the early 1900′s, plus relevant catalogs and ads.  For many years he edited the Cascade Panorama for the Cascade Photographic Historical Society.  He and Rick Soloway have coauthored several articles about the cameras of Walter Dorwin Teague.  Teague family members will be present.
